Obituary of Elizabeth M. Mulvey

Elizabeth (Betty) M. Mulvey was born April 3, 1929 in Chicago, Illinois on her grandmother’s birthday. She is the daughter of Verna Dwyer and Robert E. Marshall Breuhl. Betty graduated in 1951 from St. Anne’s Hospital School of Nursing/Loyola University in Chicago, IL, and was president of her nursing class. She married the love of her life, Philip A. Mulvey on August 25, 1951. They raised five beautiful children: Kathleen Spera (Mark), Mary Gemma (Dr. Ronald), Philip Mulvey (Linda), Patrick Mulvey (Sandy), and Elizabeth Claire (Betsy) Mulvey. Fifteen grandchildren: Matthew, Patrick, and Elizabeth Spera; Lindsey , Ronald, and Dr. Vincent Gemma; John Mulvey and Maggie (Mulvey) Cuevas; Meagan (Mulvey) Orabutt, Kierney, Maisey (Mulvey) Buban, Michael, and Molly Mulvey; Katarina and Maria Mraz. Seven Great-Grandchildren: Claire Spera; Veronica Sumala; Nicholas and Daniel Mulvey; Evie and Vincent Cuevas; Caden and Rylee Orabutt. After a career as an industrial nurse, Betty and her husband opened several successful businesses. Among them were Industrial Sales, Industrial Hose, Industrial Imports, Arrow Products, and Aqua Flo Corp.
