Obituary of Robert P Mitchell

Robert P. Mitchell (Bob) passed peacefully surrounded by loved ones on September 2nd 2021 in Bradenton, Fl. Bob was born to James and Patricia (Asmus) Parrick on April 20, 1954 in Burbank, Ca. His father preceded him in death in 1956. His mother than moved him and his brother Jeff back to her hometown of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. There his mother meet the love of her and the children’s lives, William Mitchell. William adopted Bob and Jeff. The boys were given plenty of opportunities to learn new things. The greatest of them being that they learned how to play instruments. Bob chose to learn the drums and Jeff chose the guitar. Bob then went on to college at the UW Madison. Music was always a big part of his life and he continued to play in bands such as The Critical Mass Blues Band. He eventually meet Jillane Anderson and they were married on June 1st, 1985 and had to children Zachary and Madeline In 1997 Bob moved the family to Florida. One of the things that Bob really enjoyed doing was playing golf with his dad Bill, brother Jeff, brother in-law Eric and son Zach. He was a big fan of UW football and the Green Bay Packers. He was an audio visual enthusiast who enjoyed listening to music on his Hi-Fi stereo system. Bob felt that providing for his family was one of his greatest accomplishments. Bob is survived by his son Zachary Mitchell and his wife Meghan, daughter Madeline Mitchell, grandchildren Ramone and Jade, Brother Jeff Mitchell and his wife Lisa, nephews Geoffry and Elliott Mitchell and Jillane Mitchell. Bob was proceeded by his Parents James Parrick, Patricia Mitchell and William Mitchell. Grandparents, Virgil Parrick, Ruth Parrick, George Asmus, Viola Asmus and great friend Kevin Scmudlach. A celebration of life will be planned in the near future.
